Chess-7 is a chess game that can be played by novice and expert players alike, or by people that know how to play but are not quite experts yet. The game has three levels of difficulty: easy, normal and above normal.

Once you have installed this game, you can play against the computer (on any of the three difficulty levels) or against someone from your family, a friend or just someone you know. When a new game is selected, you will have to choose the two players. You can choose a game played by the computer and see how it reacts and what kind of strategy it follows, or you can choose any of the other two combinations: human vs human or human vs computer.

Something that is different from other chess games is that when the computer is 'thinking' it displays a completion percentage that gives you the right idea of how long the computer will take to make a move. In other games, you see that the computer is thinking but you don't have an idea of how long it will take and that can be sometimes frustrating or just tiring. This game can be used to improve one's level. If you are a beginner and you're not sure about the moves you make, you can see how the computer reacts and then by clicking the back button you can get your pieces to a previous position and make a better move. Or you can use that trick if you made a silly move or moved a piece by mistake.

The game is pretty good, it comes with nice sound effects and it displays the game history at the right side of the window. However, this is not a free game, so you would have to consider if you want to spend your money on a chess game or just play free chess games online.
